The Traktor Kontrol S2 is a two-channel DJ controller with traditional layout controls, built-in effects, 14cm jog disks and backlit pads for triggering cue points or samples. There is a built-in sound card and a full version of Traktor Pro 3 professional DJ software.
The controls are consistent with a traditional club set-up and the controller has a nice size. In addition to wide disks with Jog Mode or Beatgrid modes for easy track straightening, there is a mix with the new Mixer FX, three-band EQ, an audition section and backlit pads for triggering samples and cue points.
As with other Native Instruments products, the bundled software plays a significant role. With the controller, you get the full version of it's DJ software, Traktor Pro 3, which will cover all your beat straightening needs seamlessly.
